The Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve is now and has always been reveled
for its beautiful, serene surroundings. It is home to some of the
most colorful, unique marine life in the world, and because of its
declaration as Hawaii's first Marine Life Conservation District,
getting an up close and personal encounter with some of this marine
life is a reality that is experienced in very few places worldwide.

Hours:
The Nature Preserve opens at 6am and the parking lot is often full
by 10am. Individuals and Families should expect delays as a nine
minute film is required to see to be granted beach access in the
nature preserve. The duration of delay is dependent on the time
of day and year. August and the holiday season are the busiest times.
To avoid long waits come early in the morning.

$5 for non-residents 13 years of age or older.
